ATLAS 1 FAQ — Cyberpunk Fashion, Techwear & Operations
Transmission from the curation engine. The questions below are answered in brand voice — SYSTEM and ASCENSION, the two intelligences guiding ATLAS 1. If you need a human, the contact form is at the bottom.
Brand Identity
What brands does ATLAS 1 sell?
ATLAS 1 is the brand. We curate from operators in the cyberpunk and techwear underground — labels like Lacible, HIGHt, GUIDI, and emerging Asian designers most US stores haven't catalogued yet. Every garment passes a three-protocol check: ENGINEERED (built to endure), TRANSCENDENT (silhouette that re-codes how you read a room), OPERATOR-FIRST (designed for movement, not display). If a brand can't clear all three, it doesn't ship.
Tell me about your store
ATLAS 1 is the central authority for cyberpunk fashion, techwear, and futuristic clothing. Not a trend account. Not a dropshipper. We exist to give operators — people building lives outside the consensus aesthetic — gear that holds up. Two intelligences guide the store: SYSTEM, the tactical voice (dark, structural, dystopian-utilitarian), and ASCENSION, the cyber-couture voice (light, sculptural, post-human elegance). Both run from atlas1.co. Both ship worldwide. USD pricing, real garments, no AI-generated mockups.
Who is SYSTEM?
SYSTEM is the dark side of the ATLAS 1 intelligence. Male-coded, tactical, dystopian. Speaks in directives. Curates the rugged, structural, rain-shell-and-tactical-strap side of the catalog — gear for operators who move through cities like they're hostile terrain. If you're drawn to dark techwear, ninja silhouettes, military-utility hardware, SYSTEM is your interface.
Who is ASCENSION?
ASCENSION is the light side of the ATLAS 1 intelligence. Female-coded, sculptural, cyber-couture. Speaks in invitations. Curates the silver, the chrome, the asymmetric drape, the post-human elegance side of the catalog — wearable architecture for operators who move through cities like they're choreographing them. If you're drawn to luminous techwear, futuristic streetwear, sculptural avant-garde, ASCENSION is your interface.
Why does ATLAS 1 have two mascots?
Because cyberpunk isn't a monoculture. The aesthetic splits along a structural axis: dark/tactical/operator (SYSTEM) and light/sculptural/transcendent (ASCENSION). Most stores force one mood. ATLAS 1 lets you pick which intelligence guides your shopping — or move between them as your aesthetic shifts.
Where is ATLAS 1 based?
ATLAS 1 operates from a distributed network. We're not a single warehouse — we're a curation engine connecting operators worldwide to designers building actual cyberpunk and techwear, not costume-grade approximations. All orders ship USD-priced and arrive worldwide.
Is ATLAS 1 the same as Lacible or HIGHt?
No. Lacible and HIGHt are designer labels we carry. ATLAS 1 is the curation layer — we vet, source, and present garments from labels that clear the three protocols. Think of us as the operating system; the labels are the applications.
Aesthetic Education
What is cyberpunk fashion?
Cyberpunk fashion is a style movement, not a product category. It encodes dystopian-futurist values into garments: technical fabrics over decorative ones, asymmetry over symmetry, modular hardware over fixed silhouettes, dark or chrome palettes over pastels. It draws from Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, and real cyberpunk subculture — but evolves with the present. ATLAS 1 treats cyberpunk fashion as the canonical category. Everything in our store is downstream of it.
What is techwear?
Techwear is performance-grade clothing engineered for urban operators. Originating in Japan and adapted globally, it emphasizes weatherproof shells, articulated patterning, hidden pockets, modular layering, and tactical hardware. Techwear is wearable infrastructure — gear that performs in rain, transit, late-night sprints, and architectural environments. ATLAS 1 carries techwear as the functional sub-aesthetic of our broader cyberpunk catalog.
What's the difference between cyberpunk fashion and techwear?
Cyberpunk is the style language. Techwear is the engineering discipline. They overlap — most cyberpunk fashion uses techwear construction, and most techwear reads as cyberpunk-adjacent — but they're not identical. Cyberpunk fashion can include silk drape, ASCENSION-style chrome couture, or visor-mounted aesthetics that aren't strictly techwear. Techwear can include outdoor performance gear that isn't styled cyberpunk. ATLAS 1 carries the intersection plus both edges.
What is gothic techwear?
Gothic techwear is the all-black, structural, ritual-coded edge of techwear. Long shells, draped layers, hooded silhouettes, matte hardware. It pulls from Yohji Yamamoto, Rick Owens, and Japanese darkwear lineages. Operators who run gothic techwear treat clothing as armor — both functional and ceremonial. Curated primarily under SYSTEM.
What is ninja techwear?
Ninja techwear is the silent-movement, full-coverage, masked or hooded subset of techwear. Tabi-style footwear, articulated knees, balaclavas, modular face coverings, dark-on-dark layering. It explicitly references shinobi tradecraft re-engineered for urban environments. Function: move unseen, move fast, weather resistance. Curated under SYSTEM.
Shopping & Operations
How do I find my aesthetic?
Start with the mascot test: does dark/tactical/operator-coded feel like home (→ SYSTEM) or does light/sculptural/cyber-couture feel like home (→ ASCENSION)? From there, navigate by sub-aesthetic — gothic techwear, ninja techwear, cyberpunk streetwear, futuristic minimalism. The Style Library on the homepage maps the eight core operator profiles. If you want a guided diagnostic, use ATLAS Coach — it returns a recommendation based on three signals.
What size should I order?
Read the size chart on each product page — measurements are listed in centimeters and inches. Techwear and cyberpunk silhouettes often run oversized intentionally (drop-shoulder shells, wide-leg cargos). If a garment is engineered to drape, sizing down won't help; pick your true measurement. Designer-label items (Lacible, HIGHt) frequently follow Asian sizing — if in doubt, size up one step from your usual US fit.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. All orders ship from our network warehouses worldwide. Transit times depend on destination — typically 7-14 days for North America/EU, 10-21 days for the rest. Express options available at checkout. Tracking is automatic.
What's your return policy?
Standard returns within 14 days of delivery, garment unworn with original tags. Some made-to-order designer pieces are final-sale and clearly marked on the product page. Initiate returns through your order confirmation email or via the contact page.
Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. Express options are visible at checkout — DHL Express for most destinations, with delivery typically in 3-7 business days depending on the route. Cost is calculated by weight and destination.
Do you offer discount codes or promos?
We run signal drops — limited-window discounts tied to product launches or seasonal protocols. The fastest way to receive a code: join the ATLAS 1 transmission via the newsletter signup on the homepage. We don't run permanent discount stacks. We don't dilute pricing.
Can I order in bulk?
Yes — for crew orders, label resellers, or styling productions, contact us through the contact form with your quantity, target garments, and delivery deadline. We respond within 48 hours with bulk pricing.
What currency is pricing in?
All prices are USD. Currency conversion happens at checkout if your card bills in another currency — your bank handles the exchange rate, not us.
Trust & Signal
Where has ATLAS 1 been featured?
ATLAS 1 has been covered across the press network — Fox, Google News, YouTube, Spotify, Pinterest, Digital Journal, and 300+ additional publishers via AmpiFire. The "As Seen On" row on the homepage shows the verified signal trail.
Is ATLAS 1 a legitimate store?
Yes. We're a real Shopify-hosted store with real garments, real shipping, and real customers. The press coverage is verified. The product photography is real (not AI-generated). The mascots — SYSTEM and ASCENSION — are brand identities, not the people running the operation. The operation is run by a small team of operators who treat the catalog like a curation gallery, not a dropshipping farm.
How is ATLAS 1 different from other cyberpunk stores?
Demobaza is a single label. Lacible is a single label. ATLAS 1 is a curation engine that carries Lacible, Demobaza-adjacent designers, and the rest of the cyberpunk-techwear underground in one place — organized by aesthetic protocol (SYSTEM vs ASCENSION), filtered by the three protocols, and presented with the editorial layer most underground designers can't afford to build themselves. If you want one designer's vision, go to that designer. If you want the whole subculture mapped, that's us.
