Military tactical clothing has always been the source code for techwear. Brands like Outlier, Vollebak, and Triple Aught Design pulled directly from military gear suppliers — MOLLE webbing, ripstop nylon, Cordura, Aramid.

The tactical aesthetic is recognizable instantly: olive drab, coyote tan, multicam patterns, harnessing systems, chest rigs, drop-leg holsters reimagined as utility pouches. The wearer is positioned not as a soldier, but as a civilian operator — someone whose daily life requires the same gear-readiness.
